When surfing the Web or sharing our computer, the safety of our files and equipment can be at risk. HideJet helps us to maintain our system free of any risk.
The program has four main functions. The first one is named Safe Box and allows us to lock/unlock files and folders by setting a password. We only need to select the corresponding feature by clicking its icon or selecting it from the Tools menu, choose the file/folder we want to protect, change its name, create a password for it and click Hide Files. As a result, the file or folder will be password-protected. To unlock, we only need to select them from the program's interface, type the password we've set, and the folder or file will be unlocked.
The second feature is Encrypted Facebook Chat. As its name implies, it enables us to encrypt all our Facebook conversations. This is important since this social network is used frequently for both business and personal purposes, and due to this feature, we can share sensitive information without the fear of it being stolen or misused.
The third option is Text Encryption which is also self-explanatory. We can type or copy-paste text into the program's interface, and it will encrypt such text automatically by clicking the corresponding button. We can save the encrypted text into another text file. To decrypt it, we copy and paste it in the program's interface, type the password and click the Decrypt button.
Another feature lets us establish a safe VPN connection that will allow us to exchange files and information in a safe manner.
To conclude, the program is very easy to use. Its intuitive and easy-to-use interface has huge icons that makes it easier to work with. One more very interesting option is the possibility of using voice commands to work with several program's features. If we add that its cost is very affordable, then the software is a good option to keep our files safe.
